1. Information Termino accesses
Depending on which commands you use and which permissions you grant, Termino may access:
- Installed launchable apps, so the launcher can search and open apps.
- Contacts, so contact search, call and messaging commands can resolve names locally.
- Phone functionality, when you explicitly use a call command.
- Notification content, if you voluntarily enable Android Notification Access, so supported messaging notifications can appear in the terminal and expose reply actions.
- Wallpaper service state and local preferences, such as whether Code Rain is enabled.
2. How data is processed
The current core launcher processes this information on the device. Termino does not operate a cloud account system for the core launcher and does not transmit contacts, message-notification contents, app inventory or terminal history to a Termino backend.
3. Notifications
Notification Access is optional. When enabled, Termino listens for Android notifications and filters for messaging-style notifications to power the terminal inbox and supported direct replies. Notification content is not intentionally uploaded to a Termino server.
4. Third-party apps and user actions
When you use commands that open a third-party app, web page, email composer, SMS flow or Android system screen, that destination may process information under its own privacy policy. Termino does not control those services.
5. Analytics and advertising
The current core release does not include advertising SDKs or third-party analytics SDKs.
6. Children
Termino is a general-purpose Android launcher and is not specifically directed at children.
7. Future features
If a future release adds optional network-connected features such as cloud AI, sync or online accounts, this policy will be updated before or when those features are released, and relevant in-app disclosures will be provided.
